MaximImages is a boutique image library, founded in 2007 by a fashion and fine art photographer Alex Maxim, with a strong focus on aesthetically pleasing, exquisite, expressive and unique photography and art, intended for usage in most demanding commercial, advertising, promotional and editorial publications and designs, as well as for tasteful decorating of walls and uplifting of the spirits of art collectors and admirers.

Licensing

When it comes to licensing of high-quality, tastefully made imagery for a marketing or promotional campaign, a book cover, a printed publication, an advertisement, a corporate website etc. or when purchasing an artwork to decorate the interior and bring life to a living or working space, every art director, publisher or art buyer has a decision to make, whether to save money and go with a mass-produced, typical stock imagery, free AI-generated art, or to invest into a unique artwork made by an uncompromising artist with true passion and skill, a kind of timeless artwork that will keep communicating its taste and uniqueness even after years of usage and display. Our images are available under one of the two main types of licenses:

Rights-Managed (RM), with pricing based on the image placement details and usage duration, offers most unique content. Its flexible fees are calculated to give you the lowest cost based on your usage specifics. Rights Managed license gives you an option of buying limited or unlimited exclusive rights for a specified period of time, which can be crucial when the uniqueness within a particular usage or a territory is important.

Royalty-Free (RF), perpetual, broad use license option with a simple pricing structure based on image size.

Most of our imagery is available for purchase as Art Prints and Wall Art in a variety of sizes, formats and paper finishes.

Creative support, Retouching, Design

To creatively support our customers, we offer:

- Full spectrum of speedy, professional top quality photo retouching services, some of which are offered free for licensed from us images.

- Free up-sampling, color correction, minor retouching and cleanup is included with licensed images when required.

- Most of our isolated images come with an embedded clipping path for easy separation from the background. Some of our isolated images we can provide as Tiff files in separate layers.

- All images in our collection are of very high resolution and are ready for a significant cropping or resampling. Almost all images on our website are suitable for print and publication of any size, from a magazine cover to a billboard ad or a PoS display. Most images are available at even higher resolution by special request. By clicking on an image preview you can see its details at 100% zoom.

It's very challenging finding a photography retoucher that meets your exacting standards – it's a subjective art and looking at portfolios can often give you a false sense of the individual's talents or taste.

Not the case with Maximimages and Alex. I found Alex several years ago when I needed a second retoucher to handle an overflow job and I've never looked back – he's done probably a hundred jobs for me since then. Always really good, always understands what I'm asking for and works collaboratively with me to get the result I'm after, always great about timelines.
