Collected Information

When you access MaximImages, your IP address as well as your browser information and the address of the website that referred you to us is collected in order to provide security to our website and our registered user. In order to optimize our search results, all search requests and information about opened image pages and clicked links is stored in our system. We also collect your website customization preferences that allow us to display content relevant to your request.

When you register on our website, we will ask you to provide basic minimum personal information that will allow us to do business with you (e.g., your email, password, name, address, occupation and your phone number). You may choose not to provide this information, but in this case, certain products and services may not be available to you.

When you place an order with us, we use your personal information to communicate with you, ship printed orders to you and when you license our images, to create a legally binding License Agreement. We may send you your order status and confirmation emails. We may also send you reminders when the term of a license granted to you has expired or when your login details change. Your order history and granted licenses are archived in our system as a part of your account information. We may also share your personal information with payment processing systems in order to process your transactions and with other companies we may hire to fulfill your print orders and their shipments. We don't collect or store your payment system passwords, such as PayPal login password and we don't store your credit card details.

In order to share a lightbox, you will require to enter your friend's or your colleague's email address. We will use this email address to send a single message containing your lightbox and a link inviting to view the lightbox online on our website.

By filling out and submitting our feedback form, you understand and agree that we may, at our sole discretion, post selected feedback on our website and make it available to the public. You may choose to have your name, your company or any other personal information displayed along with the feedback by providing these details in the comment section of the feedback form, otherwise, your personal details will not be disclosed.

Personal information collected by MaximImages may be stored in Canada, the United States or any other country where our servers and/or offices are located.

We may disclose your personal information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to comply with legal process, respond to claims, or protect the rights, property or safety of MaximImages and its customers.

Other than as described above we don't share, rent or sell your personal information.

You may access and revise your personal information previously provided to us at “My Account” section of this website, where you can also review your order history and licenses granted to you. At any time you can chose to have all your personal information, archived orders and your account deleted. Contact Us if you want us to delete your account and all your personal information.

Your login details, your personal profile and order processing data is submitted via a secure (encrypted) SSL connection, which ensures that your personal information is not at risk and cannot be easily intercepted. Your account passwords are stored in an encrypted format and cannot be easily retrieved from the system.

A cookie is a small file placed in your browser's cookie directory that has a set expiration date and a validity period. We don't store any sensitive or secure information in cookies.
