There is an ever present darkness, full of mystery in all of us, and as an artist I fully embrace it. I love the shadows, the dramatic moods, the unknown and the unknowable. Acknowledging and going deep into this darkness is shedding the light on it, allowing a lily to grow from the bottom of a pond to release its unique fragrance into the world.
